Commercial and Industrial Painting

Plants, stores, schools, churches and offices, inside and out. A family-owned Fond du Lac shop on US Highway 151 has been coating working buildings since 1933.

Where a commercial coating gives out first

Coatings on working buildings rarely fail in the middle of a wall. They go at the edges first: block walls in plants where carts and pallets scrape past, hallways that see foot traffic all day, and steel in damp corners that sweats and rusts. A repaint that skips the surface preparation buys a few seasons at best, then peels back to the same failure, and the owner ends up paying to scrape the same wall twice.

That is why a Fond du Lac facility manager should ask what happens before the first coat goes on. At Spies Painting the answer starts with the surface itself: what is on it now, whether it is sound, what has to come off, and which primer suits the material underneath. The finish coat is the part everybody sees, but the work beneath it decides how long it stays put.

The shop at N8003 US Highway 151 has been coating buildings like these since 1933, so the crew has seen most of the ways a commercial finish can go wrong. A painted block wall that went from green and grey to red and blue, photographed before and after, is a good picture of what honest prep and a fresh palette do for a tired industrial interior.

Experienced Painters at Your Service

Whether it's just two offices or 200, the approach is the same. Small commercial properties and big ones get the same attention to detail, and the work covers both interior and exterior surfaces. If you only need a small area at your facility refreshed, we can do that. If you need the entire property painted, we can handle all of it.

Our team will accommodate your schedule. A building with customers walking through, shifts changing or students arriving has its own rhythm, and the painting should fit around the way the place actually runs rather than the other way around. Tell us the constraints when you call and the plan gets built around them.

We use top-branded products, including Sherwin-Williams and Hallman Lindsay coatings. Our own photo gallery shows the range of rooms and buildings we have finished: a school gym, open offices with exposed ceilings, a medical reception area, a church sanctuary wall, a hallway with geometric maroon wall paint, and an ice rink.

Standards behind the estimate

Spies Painting is a member of ABC, the Associated Builders and Contractors, and of SSPC, the Society for Protective Coatings. SSPC is the industry body that industrial coatings work is measured against, which matters when the job is steel, a plant floor or anything else that has to hold up under daily abuse. The company is family owned and now in its fourth generation, with Ron Spies as CEO and owner, Erik Spies as President and Landon Spies carrying the work forward.

Customers tend to describe the same things. One office customer wrote on our website that the employees were very professional, thorough and provided a quality job on their office facility. On Google, Dan Rosenblatt called us dependable, with people who take pride in their work, and our Google rating stands at 4.3 from 10 reviews.

The next step is simple. Call (920) 921-7107 and ask for a FREE estimate, or request a call back and a Spies Painting representative will contact you within the next business day. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and you can also visit us in Fond du Lac and walk the job with us.
